The clearest message from our investor community is simple: exits should be our top priority. We agree.

Every asset we sell turns your shares back into capital you can use again. You can reinvest it, withdraw it or decide what comes next. That makes the speed and reliability of every exit important. We are changing our process to help us close more deals, faster.

Why has an exit taken so long?

Selling a collectible is not a single click. Behind each exit is a real buyer, such as a collector, dealer, auction house or specialist marketplace. The process includes a negotiation, a contract, an invoice, an international payment and, depending on the asset, shipping and customs documents.

Until now, an individual shareholder vote sat in the middle of that process. Even after Timeless and a buyer had agreed commercial terms, the transaction remained conditional. The buyer had no certainty that the deal could close.

That had two consequences. It added waiting time to an already complex transaction. It also made some professional buyers hesitant, and in some cases buyers withdrew rather than wait for a conditional decision. At the same time, trading in the asset was suspended, sometimes for weeks, while the process was still unresolved.

What are we changing?

We are replacing the vote on each individual offer with one fixed rule that applies to every exit and is known in advance:

If an offer does not meet that threshold, we do not sell. We continue to hold the asset and look for a better opportunity. If an offer clears the threshold and the other terms are right, we can negotiate and close a binding deal without adding a case-by-case vote.

The 5% minimum is a floor, not a target and not a guarantee of a quick sale. We will continue to negotiate for the strongest terms available and assess the buyer, price and execution risk of every transaction.

What does this mean for you?
Three recent assets, three different exit stories

Recent transactions show why a faster, more certain process matters across very different collectible markets.

Michael Jordan Rookie Card: an icon collectors recognize immediately
1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie Card number 57
1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie Card #57

The 1986 Fleer Basketball #57 is one of the defining cards of the modern sports-card market. This example carried a BGS 9.5 grade and connects a recognized rookie issue with one of sport’s most enduring cultural figures.

Timeless completed the exit at €63,797.98, compared with a drop price of €53,700. The realized performance was +18.80% over a holding period of 34.5 months. It is a useful example of how clear identity, professional grading and a broad collector audience can support an executable sale.

Bowmore 1964: when rarity meets a conditional process
Bowmore 1964 50 Year Old The Last Cask whisky bottle
Bowmore 1964 50 YO The Last Cask

Distilled in 1964, matured for 50 years and released as an edition of 159 bottles, The Last Cask represents the long time horizons and extreme scarcity that shape the rare-whisky market.

This asset currently has a €55,000 exit offer against a €49,500 drop price. That equals an expected performance of +11.11% after 13.5 months, based on the offer. The exit is still marked as pending, so this is not a realized return. It also shows why removing avoidable uncertainty between an agreed offer and a binding close matters.

LeBron James SPx Rookie: scarcity, condition and a completed exit
2003 SPx LeBron James Rookie number 151 graded PSA 10
2003 SPx LeBRON James Rookie #151 (PSA 10)

This PSA 10 rookie card, numbered 49 of 750, combines a limited issue, top condition and the first NBA season of one of basketball’s defining players.

Timeless completed the exit at €40,564, compared with a drop price of €32,500. The realized performance was +24.81% over 50.5 months. The asset’s longer holding period also makes the point clearly: opportunities emerge on different timelines, but when a credible buyer and the right terms come together, execution should not add unnecessary delay.

The bottom line

You previously approved each individual offer. That process protected your voice, but it also slowed transactions, left buyers with uncertainty and interrupted trading before a sale was final.

Going forward, the decision rule is known before negotiations begin: we sell only at least 5% above the original drop price. Below that level, we hold. Above it, we can close when the full terms are right.

More capacity for exits, faster execution and clearer communication are what we are optimizing for. The real measure of this change will be what we deliver, and exits remain our top priority.
